Contact the funeral director of your choice as soon as possible and advise them what has transpired, and that the Coroner's office is involved. Your funeral director will then coordinate further arrangements directly with the Coroner's office to effect release and begin the preparation for your loved one’s funeral arrangements. Normally the deceased will be released to the funeral director within 24 hours. |
